The Rang closes The Wanderer Edit the way a festival ends - loudly, joyfully, without apology. The body is a dense Kutch patchwork of hand-embroidered panels: red base cloth with orange and yellow thread work, mirror squares stitched in rows, geometric borders in black and white, crochet inserts in magenta and green. No single panel dominates. Every centimetre is doing something. Along the top flap, kaudi shells are clustered with multicolour tassels - red, green, purple - and small gold pom-poms. The strap is a hand-braided tricolour rope in red, green and gold. It closes with a simple flap. It opens a conversation in every room it enters. The Rang is the last piece in this edit - and it makes sure you remember that.

The patchwork panel arrangement and mirror square density vary between pieces - the exact colour balance across red, orange, magenta and black shifts with each maker's assembly. Tassel colour order on the flap also varies. The braided strap colour combination stays consistent across all pieces.
